Background
The Australian Dental Association (ADA) is the peak national body for the dental profession. The organisation manages its online presence through a Kentico website which provides fully comprehensive, real-time integration to its IMIS AMS.
The Goal
The ADA is the primary point for member CPD management and wanted to ensure that members were provided with the most effective and beneficial way to manage ongoing professional development.
The Challenges
ADA members required fast and expedient access to all CPD information. The CPD program, therefore, required a large number of embedded rules and a high level of automated attainment recording.
The Solution
A CPD Self-Management Portal accessed through Kentico and stored in iMIS. The platform includes fully automated CPD attainment based on member activity, combined with real time access to certificates and log books.
The Outcome
A seamless and user-friendly experience for ADA members and staff which has resulted in a significant uptake of the CPD Self-Management Portal. Members have reported significant time improvements through the increase in automatic CPD recording.
