Letting people pick up an unfinished join application

When someone started joining a member organisation and stopped part way, their application went no further. If they came back later, they started again on a new record, and the unfinished applications sat on the Joins board until the membership team cleared them.

Julian built the version that now runs. If a person stops part way through the join form, what they have entered is saved against their record in the membership database. They can pick it up on the same device or from a link in an email, and land back on their own record instead of a new one. Once a day a check finds unfinished applications old enough to qualify, and each person gets one reminder with their name, the date, a contact address and a link back to their application.

People still make the decisions. The membership team chose one reminder and no more. Anyone they clear from the Joins board is not contacted, and approving a submitted application stays with them.

In your own office, open the list of applications that were started and never submitted. Check how many are truly unfinished and how many are submitted and waiting for approval.
